Yes. The Geometris ELD is fully registered with the FMCSA under the federal ELD mandate (49 CFR Part 395). It is compliant for all commercial motor vehicles subject to HOS regulations in the United States and Canada.

The Geometris ELD is compatible with any commercial vehicle manufactured in the year 2000 or later that has a standard OBD-II port. This includes most Class 4–8 trucks and tractors. If you're unsure, contact our team and we'll confirm compatibility before you order.

The device includes on-board memory that stores up to 6 months of log data locally. All HOS and GPS data captured during periods without cellular coverage is automatically synced to the cloud once connectivity is restored. Logs remain accessible via the driver app at all times via Bluetooth, regardless of signal.

The driver app includes a dedicated Roadside Inspection Mode that presents the driver's electronic log in the FMCSA-required format. The driver hands the officer the phone (or prints the log via the app), and the officer can view the log directly. Transfer to FMCSA's roadside system is also supported wirelessly.
